MAE490 / 491- Senior Design I/II - Electric Vehicle
This section of senior design is based on designing, fabricating, and testing a single seat electric race car based on the rules and regulations of the FSAE annual competition. Students exercise and demonstrate the engineering knowledge and skills that they have obtained during their undergraduate education in this two semester course. Students work in small teams on a specific vehicle subsystem such as chassis, power train, suspension, braking, or steering design. Students also learn and utilize strategies for project management, decision making, communication, and engineering ethics.
